With a >50% share of the German Private Banking Market, greatest profit potential lies in the smaller wealth segment. This sources from a large client base and relatively higher margins per € under management. While the HNWI segment is relatively small, high profits can be also achieved with UHNW individuals.

In line with the geographical distribution of wealth throughout the country, the profit potential for private banking services is greatest around economic hubs in southern and south-western states.
